CES is where the world announces its next technologies. At the Netherlands pavilion, we showed which of them will win: live, one field at a time, for four days straight.

CES is the loudest week in technology. Every booth promises the future, and most of those promises won't survive the decade. We went to Las Vegas with the one instrument that tells them apart: the improvement rate, measured from patent citations, years before the market settles.
CES is where hype peaks. Filing counts, funding rounds and keynote stages all point in one direction, and that direction is often wrong. The signal that holds up is speed: how fast each technology is actually improving.
The format at the stand was simple. Name a technology field. Our forecasting agents scouted it, ranked every competing route by improvement rate, and let you interrogate the whole field in minutes. No slide deck, no pitch. The data did the talking.
We exhibited with the Netherlands pavilion, among the startups the Dutch delegation brings to CES every January. GetFocus has been on the CES floor every year since 2024, when the platform won a CES AI award. The method behind it is co-developed with MIT and has never met an exception: the fastest-improving technology always wins.

The fastest improving technology always wins. We have never found an exception to this in any field.
